Photo Finish

There is this woman who was touristing at Yellowstone recently. She was at the top of a cliff looking over a river really really far below. I guess it was a little too far, because she stepped over the barrier to get a closer photo. That extra foot or two really made the shot, I'm sure. Well, that barrier was there for a reason. She fell. I really wish I could feel sorry for her. I wonder if this is the sort of thing that inspired Darwin.

It's too bad this woman wasn't on a soap opera. There have been so many people pushed, flung, ejected, tricked, dragged and pulled off cliffs on various soaps (and that's not counting rooftops and balconies) and I'm pretty sure none of them ever stayed dead. Granted, many of them were saved at the last minute by the strongest twig in the world or the hand of their next true love, but even the ones that fall and are eclared dead come back in a few years.

I should be able to resist a title like that. Oh well.
